Repeat Medication Ordering.

We have taken the difficult decision and amended the practice policy regarding the ordering of Repeat medication by Chemists. From the 1st June 2017 Chemists will no longer be able to order medication on a patients behalf. The other usual methods of ordering medication remain - in person, online or now by Fax. The link below explains these changes in more detail.

Ordering Repeat Prescriptions

Dr Walker

It is with sadness that Dr Walker left the Surgery at the end of the 2016 after 22 years of loyal service. He will be missed by staff and patients. He has now taken up a new post so as to be closer to his Church and we wish him well in his new practice in Hyson Green.

Church Street Medical Centre is Rated Outstanding by CQC!

We are pleased to announce  that the Practice has been rated "Outstanding" in our recent CQC inspection.  Only 194 GP practices in the Country have been given this rating and we are incredibly proud of all the Staff at the Surgery and our Patient Participation group for their contribution to the Practice.

Prescription To order your repeat prescriptions on-line you will need to have ensured that you have joined the 2500 patients who have registered in person at the practice for an on-line user name and password. This will also allow you to book appointments on line.

You will NOT be able to order repeat prescriptions without a logon, which MUST be obtained in person from the practice.

REMEMBER - DO NOT SHARE USER NAMES & PASSWORDS WITH ANYONE, PHARMACIES WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THE NEW SERVICE ON YOUR BEHALF .

Please be aware that the message link on your repeat ordering page is to notify us of medicines you have been unable to order and notify us of which pharmacy you wish to collect your prescription from - we cannot provide a confirmation of order or a reminder or next prescription service.

Please do not ring the practice to check we have the order (the system is linked directly to our clinical system we have your order), this not only causes delays for patients ringing to get through regarding appointments etc, but impacts on the prescriptions teams’ ability to process the 100's of prescriptions we handle daily. Thank you
