Repeat Medication Ordering.

We have taken the difficult decision and amended the practice policy regarding the ordering of Repeat medication by Chemists. From the 1st June 2017 Chemists will no longer be able to order medication on a patients behalf. The other usual methods of ordering medication remain - in person, online or now by Fax. The link below explains these changes in more detail.

Church Street Medical Centre is Rated Outstanding by CQC!

We are pleased to announce  that the Practice has been rated "Outstanding" in our recent CQC inspection.  Only 194 GP practices in the Country have been given this rating and we are incredibly proud of all the Staff at the Surgery and our Patient Participation group for their contribution to the Practice.



Practice Management

Mrs Anita Smith (f)

Anita Smith is our Practice Manager and is responsible for the day to day running of the Surgery.


Mrs Debbie Brookes (f)

Administration Manager Responsible for supporting the Practice

Mrs Karen Fairbrother (f)

Karen is the Assistant Admin Manager

Mrs Libby Chamberlain (f)

Office Manager Reponsible for supporting the Practice  and heading Office/Data Input issues. Alongside this Libby is the Chief Dispenser for the Surgery. She has her BTEC qualification which was studied at Peoples College Nottingham and also undertaking the NVQ III to update her knowledge.

We have experienced Secretaries with a wealth of knowledge.


We have a team of 11 Receptionists/Data Input Clerks If you need to speak privately to any member of staff please feel free to ask. You can be assured of help and confidentiality.
